When Mike and Alex contacted us to shoot their wedding in Prestbury, we were thrilled, not only because they are such a lovely couple but because they were using all local suppliers and it felt so good because of that. Prestbury is a quintessential english village, St Peters is your archetypical english church, the sun was shining…and the scene was set for 3 english gents, tankards in hand, to sample the wares of the local village pub.
Mike lives in the village,, and after getting dressed, he and his two bestsmen walked to the Admiral Rodney for a pint of their finest ale, and some gentle ribbing on the morning of his wedding.
Alex, stayed at the bridge hotel to get herself and her ladies ready, a relaxed chilled time spent sipping champagne and laughing. Dad turned up to walk his beautiful daughter to the church.
Photographs were taken on a stroll round their village and then all back to the Bridge for a very british garden party wedding.
From the flowers, to the beer, all the venues..and indeed ourselves..it was a local wedding for local people…but what lovely people…thank you Mike & Alex..it was a hoot.
“Christine and Iain are fantastic wedding photographers; not only do they take amazing and creative pictures but they’re so much fun to work with.
They were omnipresent, and never missed a moment, yet managed to not impose themselves on the wedding in an invasive way. We will never forget our wedding and what we felt because of our beautiful and original images, Christine and Iain captured our wedding”
